4-H Youth Activities At The Fair

FRIDAY, JULY 9
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

 
FRIDAY, JULY 30
10:00 A.M. - Mandatory Snack Booth worker / training - stay for cleanup.
11:00 to 2:00 P.M. - Fair cleanup. We need 4-H help!  Please call the 4-H office!  734-4453.
           
SATURDAY, July 31
10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.  - Exhibits entered and judged - 4-H Building - club displays may be set up.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 1
4:00 P.M. - Rabbits MUST be in place.
12:00 to 6:00 P.M. - 4-H Snack Shack open in the 4-H Building
NOON to 6:00 P.M. - Exhibits entered, judged and set up. At this time we will accept any entries not judged on Saturday.
NO EXHIBITS ACCEPTED AFTER 6:00 P.M.
6:00 p.m. - All entries in place, club displays will be judged excluding those in the horse barns between 6 and 8 p.m.
Mandatory meeting for Horse Exhibitors @ 7:00 P.M. by the food booth

10:00 P.M. - Horses MUST be in place

 
MONDAY, AUGUST 2
10:00am - Youth Talent Show Audition
***4-H Building Closed except to 4-H’ers. Displays set up.***
12:00 to 6:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in 4-H Building
3:00 pm – Rabbit Show
6:00 pm Mandatory Dairy/Livestock meeting
7:00 pm Jr. Holstein Showmanship Classes        
8:00 P.M. - Dairy and All Livestock in Place

9:00 A.M. – Horse Western/Gymkanna Classes – See Section G

10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in 4-H Building
10:00 A.M. - Weigh-in for Livestock
1:00 pm – Poultry Show
6:30 pm – 4H Dog Agility

9:00 A.M. – Horse English Classes – See Section G
10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in 4-H Building
10:00 am 4H Dairy Show/ Fitting and showmanship
3:00 P.M. - 4-H Pet Parade

THURSDAY, AUGUST 5

Fun Games – Horse Classes – See Section G
Horses are released at 10:00 A.M.
Horses must be out of the pole barn by 3:00 P.M. – See Horse Committee Chair with questions prior to start of Fair

10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in 4-H Building
10:00 am 4H Livestock Show (Swine, Sheep, Goat) includes fitting & showmanship

1:30 pm approximate time for time for 4H Beef Show (will begin as soon as ring is available)

FRIDAY, AUGUST  6

10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in the 4-H Building
11:00am - 3:00pm - Youth Semi-finalist Talent Show
1:00 pm Rabbit/Cavy Knowledge
4:00 pm Fashion Review

SATURDAY, AUGUST 7

10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in the 4-H Building
10:00 A.M. - Rabbit/Cavy Showmanship
6:00 P.M.  -  Livestock Auction  - Dairy Ring
 
SUNDAY, AUGUST 8
10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. - Snack Shack open in the 4-H Building
5:00 P.M. - Release time for Rabbits
5:00 P.M. - Release time for Dairy and Livestock
